Exstore (Examine and Restore) Assessment System
When the body is in pain, or has been injured, it can result in muscle dysfunction in related areas. For instance, a knee or ankle injury is likely to cause dysfunction or inhibition in one or more of the muscles of the hip. And conversely, dysfunction in hip muscles can make injury to related joints more likely.
Correcting this type of dysfunction with acupuncture and manual therapy speeds recovery of the painful area, and will make it more likely that the treatment lasts. Developed by Dr. Anthony Lombardi, instructor in the McMaster University Medical Acupuncture Program.
